Threshold values

Seite drucken

House owners pay attention:

Oil and gas heating systems must adhere to the following threshold values in accordance with the Federal Emission Control Regulation (BImSchV):

Exhaust gas loss

All oil and gas systems must adhere to the following threshold values for exhaust gas loss depending on their nominal thermal output:

Nominal thermal output in kilowatts New threshold values
4 to 25 11 %
25 to 50 10 %
50 to 120 9 %

Nitrogen oxide threshold values

Oil heating systems 120 mg/kWh
Gas heating systems 80 mg/kWh

Soot threshold values

The amount of soot is only measured in the case of oil heating systems and indicates the dust and soot content in the exhaust gas. It can be between 0 and 9, but may only be a max. of 1 in accordance with BImSchV.

Our tip: Modernise as soon as possible and don't exhaust the interim deadline. A new system refinances the procurement costs thanks to the energy saved month after month!
