Installation

The boiler and the exhaust gas/water heat exchanger may only be installed in rooms in which air pollution due to halogenous hydrocarbons is taken into account, such as hairdressers, printing works, chemical processing plants, laboratories etc. if sufficient measures are taken to ensure the provision of clean combustion air.

Boilers and exhaust gas/ water heat exchangers may not be installed in rooms with high levels of dust or high levels of humidity (e.g. washhouses).

The burners are suitable for use with commercially available boilers to heat houses and apartment buildings. Use outdoors or in rooms with a high level of humidity is not permitted. For use with special boiler systems, e.g. ovens, dark-ray radiators, drying chambers, annealing furnaces, condensing boilers etc., prior consultation with MHG Heiztechnik GmbH is necessary.

The heating room must be free of frost and well ventilated. The relevant guidelines of the Federal Water Household Act (WHG) with regard to installation of the oil lines and anti-raiser effect must be adhered to. Storage of the oil as well as installation of the oil lines have to be carried out in such a way that the oil temperature is always at least +5°C before it reaches the burner. Only heating oil additives that burn ash-free are permitted.

From an installation point of view, suitable measures are to be met in order to prevent drinking water from being blocked from the heating unit e.g. due to furring up, dirt or corrosion.

The standard regulations regarding minimum distances from the walls are to be adhered to. Gas condensing systems are particularly suitable for installation on a roof. They do not need to have a tall chimney as they operate with overpressure in the burning chamber.

Should these guidelines not be adhered to, the guarantee is deemed void in the case of damage to the device arising caused by one of these factors.
